2003
(2/9) Iran says it will build factories to convert uranium ore for nuclear power plant use.
(8/26) UN report says Iran has enriched uranium of type not needed for power plants.
(10/21) Iran accepts tighter inspections and says it will not enrich uranium.
(12/18) Iran agrees to unannounced inspections.

2004
(6/1) IAEA finds uranium traces that exceed enrichment needed for power plants.
(7/31) Iran admits enrichment-centrifuge fabrication, denies resuming enrichment.
(9/21) Iran announces resumption of ore conversion (a process prior to enrichment).

(2/2) IAEA vote unanimously to send Iran’s case to Security Council.
(2/14) Iran resumes small-scale enrichment in retaliation to Security Council referral.
(4/12) Iran announces it will move toward large-scale enrichment.
