Nuclear, Wind, Ethanol, Solar, ...
In 2003, world energy was 6% nuclear and 8% renewable. In 2030, DOE predicts 5% nuclear and 9% renewable. No change in the alternative fuel 27 years later.

In the U.S., from 2003 till 2030, DOE predicts coal will grow four times faster than renewables. DOE could be wrong, but it probably won't be far off without a serious change of policy. Coal is cheap, but worse for global warming than oil or natural gas.
