DOE spends 2/3 of it's budget on nuclear weapons, but only a tiny bit (green squares) on rewable energy research. All three come to $1.13/person per year ! Government incentives are often in the wrong direction. Better energy policies are available.

Hilary Clinton has the most complete proposal of any Democrat. Barack Obama is second and Nancy Pelosi has essentially none. They are less pro-oil and pro-nuclear, but they still cater to special interests and take a laundry-list approach.

Princeton scientists give us a list of 20 projects for stabilize CO2 emissions for the next 50 year. Just 7 of them, done right would be enough. It's a clever list, but they don't tell us how to get any of them to happen.
