Most accurate graph available, averages five polls: Gallop, AP/Ipsos, CBS, ABC/W.Post, and Pew Research. The result has about a 1.5% error every day compared with 3% for individual polls. Updated about twice a week. Adding 1/2 of undecided makes polls more comparable and prevents downward bias. Sophisticated averaging.

Bush's job approval rating crashed on election day. Voters rejected the war, the Republicans and Bush. Even as he fired Rumsfeld, he claimed he was pleased with the progress of Iraq. And he is still muttering about Iran. Sending more troops to Iraq has lowered his poll ratings again.
