In six elections, CNN polled a string of three debates, and Nate Silver gives us the winning scores: Bush in 2000: +4, Romney in 2012: +27, Kerry in 2004: +31, B. Clinton in 1992: +58, Obama in 2008: +64, H. Clinton in 2016: +71. Bravo Hillary!
I knew that Comey, the FBI Director had said “My judgment is that she did not break the law.” But what was she thinking!? My friends, wanted answers, and I found my first real clue in the New York times: The State Dept email system is an unclassified system just like Clinton’s was.
What the heck?! Was the whole State Dept mishandling Classified information? I decided to get it straight from the horse’s mouth. And that meant reading the FBI report. Whoa! That was a shock. [Read more...]
Sept 15, 2016. For the last 87 years, since 1929, every time the Democrats took over the presidency, jobs were created faster. And every time the Republicans took over, jobs were created slower. Nine times in a row is no accident. And the difference is huge. Why is that? Let a conservative economist explain. [Read more...]
Over the negative din of politics, it can be hard to hear what's positive. Hillary Clinton has given $17.6 million of her speaking fees to charity (see below). That's 26 times what she made on her 3 Goldman-Sachs speeches, or 50% more than she made on her 51 speeches in 2014 and 2015. First, let me summarize.
2. Over 100 lesser-known people are in the $200,000+ category.
2. Nonsense or rubbish.
3. Deceit; fraud; trickery.
Ajuma Baraka, Jill Stein's pick for VP thinks Bernie Sanders has a commitment to "normalized white supremacy" and his supporters form an "ideological prop [for a] capitalist-imperialist settler state." The Russian Green Party considers Jill Stein herself to be Putin's "accomplice" in the repression of domestic human rights. She has celebrated Putin's propaganda network in both Moscow and New York.
Of course, Putin loves Stein because [Read more...]
“She did not break the law,” said FBI Director Comey. I knew that. But what was she thinking!? My friends wanted answers, and I found my first clue in the New York Times: The State Department email system is an unclassified system just like Clinton’s server was. [Read more…]
Update: zFacts published the following post on Aug 24, 2016, and yesterday (Oct 6) Trump told CNN the Central Park Five were guilty in spite of another man’s confession, which was confirmed by DNA match. Trump is incapable of admitting a mistake or apologizing.
Trump spent $85,000 (double that in today’s money) on a full-page ad in the NY Times and three other newspapers.
BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY
AND BRING BACK OUR POLICE!
“What has happened to law and order? … I want to hate these muggers and murderers. ‘They should be forced to suffer … I want them to be afraid. … Criminals must be told that their CIVIL LIBERTIES END WHEN AN ATTACK ON OUR SAFETY BEGINS.” [Read more…]
Trump is coming unglued over his taxes. Yes, he comes unglued a lot, but this issue is at the heart of his campaign, so it could destroy him. Peter Kiernan, a decorated Marine veteran of Afghanistan, figured out how to do this. And it’s such a fabulous (and fun) idea that Reid Hoffman, the founder of Linkedin, almost immediately gave him a $5 million matching grant.
Kiernan leverages the fact that Trump really is hiding something huge and that’s why he cannot and will not release his returns. He figured out how that can make it safe for us to put an enormous amount of pressure on Trump, basically at no cost. It’s 99% sure Hoffman will not actually spend one cent even though he really is putting $5M pressure on Trump. [Read more…]
The timing is no coincidence
Pam Bondi, Florida’s attorney general, asked Donald Trump to contribute to her re-election campaign fund. Nothing wrong with that. EXCEPT that the donation came on Sept. 17, 2013, four days after it was reported that Bondi’s office was considering whether to investigate fraud allegations against the fraudulent Trump University.
Bondi made the call
As Trump famously promised, “I give to everybody. When they call, I give.” So Pam Bondi called, and Trump gave. But Trump had a bit more to say: “And you know what? When I need something from them … they are there for me.” And she was. [Read more…]
Five million Sanders supporters are still leaning towards for Gary Johnson. This disrespects Bernie and all he stands for. Not voting for Clinton is a vote against Sanders’ Revolution. That’s why Sanders is stumping for Clinton.
He’s now (Sept 18) in Ohio and making some progress with Elizabeth Warren (CBS News): “The fact that Sanders is actually endorsing her is really important because I wasn’t really the biggest fan of hers but now that I see that he is going out of his way to promote who she is, I think it’s super important,” said Zach Fradette, a 21-year-old student from Westerville, Ohio.
Is Johnson deceptive? He goes after Sanders’ supporters by saying he’s 73% aligned with Sanders. But he never mentions that he can’t stand any of Sanders’ positions that are even slightly related to his democratic socialism. And that’s who Bernie is. That’s how he defines himself. Johnson doesn’t like to talk about the positions I’ve listed, and “73%” makes no sense. So I say, he’s deceptive. (Jill Stein is equally bad and almost as damaging.) [Read more…]
STEP UP FROM THE MISSTEP
Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia and her resulting September 11th stumble has the press fretting about her health, her campaign and her reputation for a lack of transparency. Taken together with other steps, however, the Clinton campaign must turn this political and literal misstep into an opportunity.
Here’s why: The Great Debate Expectations Game. Heading into the first presidential debate on Sept. 26th, Clinton must change any media expectation that she will trump Trump. It’s a forecast that even her own campaign has cultivated – witness a New York Times report that she hopes “to crush Mr. Trump on live television.”
True, there’s a chance that the Donald’s head will explode [Read more…]
CANTON, Ohio — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said in an interview here that he remains unwilling to say that President Obama was born in the United States. —Washington Post, September 15 at 7:34 PM EDT.
WASHINGTON — Hillary Clinton on Thursday night denounced her rival Donald Trump for his continuing refusal to admit President Barack Obama was born in the United States.
“He was asked one more time, ‘Where was President Obama born?’” Clinton said to the audience at a black tie affair at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s 39th awards gala. “And he still wouldn’t say Hawaii. He still wouldn’t say America. This man wants to be our next president? When will he stop this ugliness, this bigotry?” —Politico, 09/15/16 10:04 PM EDT

Donald Trump directed his foundation to give at least $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. “No, he was not paying to play,” said his campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, “The Clinton Foundation does a lot of good work. [Aug 2016]” Ivanka gave at least $5,000 and her father-in-law, at least a quarter million.
The official Trump-Pence position is very different: “The Clintons have spent decades as insiders lining their own pockets and taking care of donors instead of the American people. It is now clear that the Clinton Foundation is the most corrupt enterprise in political history.” What nonsense. [Read more…]
